release from Sharon Grierson MP the federal member for Newcastle. The
release refers to the Estate Property Group collapse and specifically
mentions the 42 unit Kingfisher Grove site at Shortland a suburb of Newcastle.
The report about the
Estate Property Group collapse and Kingfisher Grove development mentions the
investors and subcontractors who lost money on this development. Many
subcontractors who worked on Estate Property developments such as kingfisher
grove lost considerable amounts of money in 2007 when they were not paid.

not
been available through Ability Finance brokers since 2007 as we have
maintained since that time and we have been

Commercial Centre
The closest commercial centre to Shortland is the shopping complex at Jesmond.
The area is restricted in its development due to the surrounding wetlands.
