Geosource
"Geosource is a collection of links to webpages with information in the subjects that are being taught and studied in the Faculty of Geographical Sciences of Utrecht Unversity, Netherlands. The Hooper Virtual Natural History Museum
"Welcome to the Hooper Virtual Natural History Museum. Visit this site to view a growing collection of natural history exhibits created by Carleton University faculty and students. MadSciNet: the 24-hour exploding laboratory
Provided by the Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, the MadSci Network site provides an Ask-A-Scientist service, as well as MAD Labs (a collection of demonstrations illustrating science concepts); "The Visible Human",(a digitized guided tour); and the MadSci Laboratory,(organized web links for a wide variety of science fields.)

NASA's Visible Earth
"The goal of Visible Earth is to provide a consistently updated central catalog/collection point to the superset of Earth science-related visualizations and images."

National Archive of Geological Photographs
Contains approximately 6400 digitized images dedicated to the theme of earth sciences.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is an organization run by the U.S. Department of Commerce. This government organization "conducts research and gathers data about the global oceans, atmosphere, space, and sun, and applies this knowledge to science and service that touch the lives of all Americans." The website includes current news, factual information and statistical information on: weather, ocean, satellites, fisheries, climate, research, coasts and charting and navigation throughout the nation.

National Wind Technology Center
This site is hosted by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, a division of the U.S. Department of Energy. "Provides information on wind energy technology; includes site tour, video, downloadable design codes, wind quiz and document order form." Also includes Internet resources, "wind resource database" and wind turbine research information.
